Books for Children
After Nicolene published her first book ‘Creation by God, or evolution… from nothing?’ in 2014, numerous people inquired about a book specifically for younger children. After prayerful consideration, she published ‘Creation to re-creation’ (Afrikaans: ‘Skepping to herskepping’) in 2019. The content is specifically aimed at elementary (primary) school children, while parents can read and explain the content to younger children as well. The amazing Biblical account of Creation, Destruction and Redemption is illustrated in a colorful manner, while the children are introduced to various scientific terms and principles as well. These books are also available in Australia, Canada and the USA. These books have been met with widespread positive feedback and commendation, earning praise for their quality and impact. Reviews of the book can be found by clicking on the ‘Books’ tab on her webpage. A DVD series based on these books, available in both English and Afrikaans, can be found on Nicolene’s YouTube channel. Additionally, a comprehensive Questions and Answers document based on the DVD series, intended for use in Home Schools, Sabbath Schools, Sunday Schools, and by all other educators, can be downloaded for free from her website by clicking here.
Who am I? Where do I come from? Where am I going? Did God really create the heavens and the Earth? Did everything come into being by chance? Did God create me, or do I come from an ape? Well, you are not alone. Many people have asked these questions. That is why it is important that we get the right answers. It can determine our destiny.
An easy-to-read book that will convince you that you are not descended from an ape! This book is great reading material for teenagers and adults; is a valuable guide for parents and teachers and can be easily adapted and read to younger children.
Books for Adults
In September 2011, Nicolene felt a clear, personal conviction to write a book on this subject, specifically focused on teenagers and adults who don’t necessarily have a scientific background. This is the first full-color, illustrated, comprehensive book on creation science in South Africa, specifically written for the non-scientist. The book covers a wide range of topics, including Biology, Geology, The Flood Model, Cosmology, Radiometric Dating, and Intelligent Design. Among those who reviewed the book are Prof. Walter Veith, former head of Zoology at Western Cape University; Dr. Hennie Mouton, former Associate Professor at UCT; and Prof. Andy McIntosh, Retired Research Professor at the University of Leeds. Their reviews can be read by clicking on the 'Books' tab of her webpage. It is Nicolene’s sincere hope and prayer that the Creation message will equip readers with unwavering faith in the truth of Creation, the Creator and His infallible Word. DVD series based on these books are available in both English and Afrikaans and can be viewed on Nicolene's YouTube channel. The compilation of these books, children’s books, and the accompanying DVD series required an extraordinary investment of approximately 30,000 hours of dedicated effort. All praise to the Creator God alone for enabling her to do this.
Evolution is proffered as a scientific theory throughout the world. Is it the truth, or could it be one of the biggest lies ever told? Is it possible that evolution is nothing more than an elaborate belief system with the aim to oppose the Christian faith and the Bible directly? To provide answers to these questions, the basic assumptions of the Big Bang and the theory of evolution are thoroughly investigated in this book. The following are some of the questions discussed: Did the Big Bang really happen? How did life on Earth originate? Is Darwin's theory of evolution at all feasible? is life on other planets, for example Mars, possible? How old is the Earth? Was there a worldwide flood? Did dinosaurs really become extinct millions of years ago? Is the story of Noah and the Ark possible? Does the fossil record support or contradict the theory of evolution? is pvolution a science or merely an atheistic belief system? The conclusions in this book may be surprising to many and will provide answers to the complex questions people frequently ask. This book is recommended for every scholar, student and parent, or anyone wanting to make rational decisions about what they believe.
